Risa Aratyr

Risa's oevre is small, but spans several genres: fantasy, flash fiction, journalism, poetry, and blog. She is best known for her Celtic fantasy novel Hunter of the Light, which earned praise from luminaries in the field, garnered 5/5-star ratings from its readers, and inspired a fantasy RPG game.

Her current projects include prepping Hunter and its sequel for re-release and publication, blogging under the header Neither Here Nor There, and curating a web presence for literary works in her care.

Chicago-born, Risa has called Northern California home for more than half a century. A long-time practitioner of Guangping Yang Tai Chi Chu'an and a handful of other Northern Chinese martial arts, she also trips the light fantastic at English County Dances, indulges in late-night video gaming, and delights in time spent with her husband of nearly 50 years.
